Privacy Policy
Last updated October 8, 2026
This policy explains what Gaming Fellers collects when you play on our game servers or use our platforms (this website, our support portal at wardogsbot.com, and our Discord), how we use it, and the choices you have. We're a volunteer-run gaming community. We collect what we need to run fair servers and nothing more, and we never sell your data or use it for advertising.
- Playing on our servers records your SteamID, in-game names and gameplay, and your stats are public on this site.
- We look up your public Steam profile to show your picture and to help staff spot cheaters.
- We don't record your IP address or chat from the game servers.
- Reports and appeals you send through the support portal are kept so staff can act on them and handle appeals fairly.
- This site uses Google Analytics cookies only if you allow them. You can opt out any time.
// What we collect
When you play on our servers
Our server panel (Warcon) records:
- Identity in game: your SteamID and the in-game names you've used.
- Sessions: which server you joined, when you joined and left, and your team.
- Gameplay: match results, scores, kills and deaths, and kill events (weapon, distance, who was involved, headshots, team kills), plus time spent seeding the server.
- Public Steam profile: your Steam name and profile picture, whether your profile is public, account age, any VAC or game bans on record, and, if your friends list is public, how many friends you have and how many of them have bans. This comes from Steam's own public API. Only staff see it, and only to help spot cheating and ban evasion.
- Moderation records: warnings, kicks, bans, staff notes and watchlist flags, with who made them and why.
The panel does not record your IP address or in-game chat.
When you visit this website
- You don't need an account. The site shows the public stats described below.
- Your IP address is used briefly, in memory only, to stop abuse (rate limiting), and is not stored. Our network provider, Cloudflare, also processes it to deliver and protect the site.
- With your consent, Google Analytics collects page views, rough location (country or city), device and browser type, and how you got here, with IP addresses anonymised. See Cookies.
- Your browser stores a few small settings for the site. See Cookies.
When you use the support portal
- Players sign in with Steam. That gives us your SteamID, Steam name and profile picture. We never see your Steam password.
- Staff sign in with Discord. That gives us your Discord user ID, username, profile picture and roles in our Discord server. Staff can also link their Steam account, and can turn on two-factor sign-in (we store the authenticator key and one-time backup codes, hashed).
- What you send us: reports, appeals and requests, including the text, links, screenshots and clips you attach, and the messages exchanged with staff.
- Sign-in records: the IP address and browser type of each active sign-in, kept while the session lasts. Staff actions in the portal are logged with who did them, when and from what IP address.
In our Discord
Discord is run by Discord Inc. under its own privacy policy. Our staff can see what you post in our server, like any member, and may use it in moderation decisions.
// What's public and what isn't
- Public on this site: your SteamID, in-game name and earlier names, Steam profile picture, and your gameplay stats, rankings, match history and awards.
- Staff only: moderation records, staff notes, the Steam account details used for anti-cheat review, support cases, and everything in the support portal. Players can see their own cases.
- Never shown: IP addresses, passwords (we don't have any) and two-factor keys.
// How we use it
- To run the servers and keep matches fair: spotting cheating, team-killing and ban evasion, and enforcing our Terms of Service.
- To show stats, leaderboards and match history on this site.
- To handle reports, appeals and requests, and to keep a fair record so repeat problems are handled consistently.
- To give perks such as reserved slots for seeding.
- To understand which pages get used and improve the site (analytics, with your consent).
- To keep our platforms secure and stop abuse.
// Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We use a few services to run things, and they handle data on our behalf:
- DigitalOcean hosts our servers and databases.
- Cloudflare delivers and protects our websites.
- Steam (Valve) handles sign-in and supplies public profile data when we look you up.
- Discord handles staff sign-in and receives notifications in our private staff channel, which can include case details.
- Google provides analytics, only if you allow it.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or with the game's developer or a platform to report serious abuse such as cheating tools or threats.
// How long we keep it
- Gameplay stats and match history are kept for as long as the community runs. They make up the career pages and season history.
- Moderation records and support cases are kept indefinitely, so appeals can be checked against what happened and repeat behaviour is handled fairly.
- Files you upload (screenshots, clips) may be deleted some time after a case is closed. A note that they existed stays on the case. Links you send are kept with the case.
- Sign-in sessions last up to 30 days. Backups of the support database are kept for 14 days.
- Analytics data is kept by Google under the retention we set in Google Analytics.

// Your choices and rights
- See or correct your data. Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or to correct something wrong.
- Delete your data. We'll delete your support portal account and what you've sent us when asked, except moderation records we need to enforce our rules (for example, the record of a ban). As our Terms explain, we don't currently remove individual players from public stats, but tell us if you have a particular concern and we'll look at it.
- Analytics. Opt out any time with Cookie settings.
- Steam. What we can see on your Steam profile depends on your Steam privacy settings, which you control.
Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states, the UK or the EU), the law may give you further rights, such as access, deletion, correction or objection. Contact us and we'll help. We'll never treat you differently for using them. To check it's really you, we may ask you to sign in with the Steam or Discord account the request is about.
// Children
Our platforms aren't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
// Security
Our sites use HTTPS. Staff access is limited by role and can require two-factor sign-in. Our server tools only reach the panel through limited-permission keys. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold and will tell affected people if something goes wrong.
// Where data is processed
Our services and providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. By using our platforms, you understand that your information may be processed there.
// Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. We'll announce significant changes in our Discord.
